Dr. Omaiyma Farida Khan, born in Swabi City of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, schooled in the United States of America, received her secondary education in Islamabad and graduated from Lahore, is a Rawalpindi-based physician by profession, an artist at heart and a student of history, mythology, and international relations by passion. She has been a debater, active MUNer and has been volunteering in various organizations working for education, women empowerment, health, and science. She is the writer of two anthologies both in English and Urdu languages and has been involved in policy and curriculum development at primary and secondary levels.
