Risala Today was founded in Lahore by experienced journalist Mr Muhsen Ali Turk on May 21, 2022, on the occasion of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. We support the Universal Declaration that emphasized the role of culture in achieving prosperity, sustainable development, and fostering peaceful coexistence. As enshrined in the Article 19 of Pakistan’s Constitution, we uphold the right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression. We support people who speak out peacefully for themselves and for others. “The power of the press is really great, but you must remember that this power is a trust,” this statement of Pakistan’s founder Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is part of our mission.
